Overview

Waterfalls Lodge is Wild Horizons’ town base in Victoria Falls, and it is an easy one if you want comfort without disappearing into the bush. The lodge sits in its own gardens at 310 Park Way Avenue, about a 15-minute walk into town and roughly 10 minutes from the rainforest entrance. You are close enough to wander, and there is a complimentary shuttle on the hour from 08h00 to 17h00 if you would rather not walk. There are 60 en-suite rooms: 44 standard twin or double rooms, plus 16 interleading rooms if you are travelling as a family or a small group. Rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, and a private patio looking into the garden. King or twin beds can be set up on request. The grounds are the reason people linger. Pools sit among the lawns, including a lazy river you can drift along between the gardens, and there is a spa, a restaurant and conference space if you need it. Breakfast is included on a bed-and-breakfast stay. If you would rather eat it with a view, you can swap that breakfast for The Lookout Café, perched over the Batoka Gorge. The swap does not include the transfer, so plan that separately or ask us to add it. This is not a safari camp. It is a polished 4-star lodge in town, run by the same team behind Old Drift Lodge, The Elephant Camp and The Wallow Lodge. Come back for a swim, then head out again.
