Flagship destination — adventure, wildlife, falls

Luxury Safaris & Private Adventures

Experience the widest sheet of falling water on earth, from helicopter flights to Devil's Pool swims.

A Wealth of Wildlife

Explore a classic Victoria Falls safari

This is where Verdanti begins — quite literally. Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, "the smoke that thunders," is the widest sheet of falling water on earth, and the Zimbabwean side delivers the most complete, most dramatic view of it. The walking trail through Victoria Falls National Park puts you face-to-face with the full mile-wide curtain, close enough to feel the spray on your skin and hear the roar before you see it.

But the falls are only the headline. Victoria Falls town is the adrenaline and safari capital of Southern Africa — a compact, walkable base with full-day access to whitewater rafting, helicopter flights, sunset cruises on the Zambezi, and game drives in nearby Zambezi National Park, all within minutes of your hotel. It's also the natural hub for onward trips to Chobe, Hwange, and Kariba, which is why almost every Verdanti itinerary starts or ends here.

Art of Africa — Painting Workshops
tour
~3 hours (varies by workshop)

Art of Africa — Painting Workshops

A genuinely original Victoria Falls experience: guided painting workshops led by a collective of young local artists, set in some of the region's most beautiful spots. You're given all the materials and gentle instruction, then create your own painting while soaking up the surroundings — and take the artwork home as the ultimate souvenir. The settings make each workshop distinct: paint the Zambezi from a breakfast cruise, the gorge at sunset from the Lookout Café, the waterfall from within the rainforest, or elephants up close at the Elephant Wallow. Several include a meal and cultural elements, blending art, scenery and local life.

Victoria Falls Bamba Tram

The Bamba Tram is an authentically styled 19th-century tram that trundles through Victoria Falls National Park out to the historic bridge over the Batoka Gorge. It's a gentle, scenic, family-friendly outing: along the way you may spot elephant, buffalo, waterbuck and bushbuck, and at the bridge you can watch the bungee and bridge-swing action and visit the rail and bridge museum, all while an on-board guide shares the history of the line. A relaxed, low-cost way to combine wildlife, history and the iconic bridge without any adrenaline required.

Batoka Gorge Hike

A guided descent into the dramatic Batoka Gorge, dropping down steep, rocky terrain to Rapid #1 at the edge of the Zambezi, then climbing back out. It puts you right at the bottom of the gorge, where the river's power and the scale of the canyon walls are felt up close — a raw, ground-level counterpoint to the aerial and bridge views. It's an affordable, low-tech adventure for the reasonably fit, with a guide setting the pace and pointing out the geology and birdlife along the way.

Bungee Jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge

A 111-metre plunge off the historic Victoria Falls Bridge, straight down toward the churning Zambezi in the gorge below — one of the most iconic bungee jumps in the world. The 1905 bridge straddles the border between the two countries, and the jump point sits roughly at its midpoint, giving you a gorge-and-river backdrop few jumps anywhere can match. It's run by a single, long-established operator with a strong safety record. The same platform offers the Bridge Swing and Bridge Slide, so many people combine all three.

Bushtracks Express — Steam Train Dinner

A step back in time aboard a fully restored 1952 steam locomotive, departing Victoria Falls Station for a slow, elegant run out to the Victoria Falls Bridge and into the bush before returning for dinner. Red-carpet boarding, polished period coaches and an open observation deck set the tone; as the train eases onto the bridge you get spray-misted views of the gorge and Falls at golden hour. Dinner is a five-course affair served as the African dusk settles — a romantic, special-occasion outing and the Zimbabwe-side counterpart to Zambia's Royal Livingstone Express.

A gentler cousin of the gorge zip lines, the Canopy Tour is a network of nine slides (40–85 m each) and a cable suspension bridge strung through the hardwood forest along the rim of the Zambezi gorges. You glide from platform to platform under the trees, taking in the riverine forest, the rapids below, the Victoria Falls Bridge and abundant birdlife — all at a relaxed, accessible pace. It's one of the best family adventures in Victoria Falls: enough of a thrill to feel adventurous, but safe and manageable for children and non-adrenaline-seekers.

Chobe Day Trip from Victoria Falls

Chobe Day Trip from Victoria Falls

Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on the planet, and because it sits just across the border, it is entirely possible to experience it in a single, action-packed day from Victoria Falls. This day trip is designed to give you two completely different perspectives of the park: a quiet water-safari on the Chobe River in the morning, followed by an open 4x4 game drive through the riverfront forests in the afternoon. We know that a cross-border day trip can sound daunting, especially with the early start and the logistics of customs. That is why we handle the entire transition. A comfortable, closed transfer vehicle takes you from your hotel to the Kazungula border, where our local representative meets you to guide you through immigration. Once in Botswana, you are handed over to our trusted, professional local guides who know every bend of the river and track of the park. The absolute standout for most of our guests is the morning boat cruise. Unlike traditional game drives, drifting on the water allows you to glide within meters of massive elephant herds, pods of hippos, and crocodiles basking on the banks without disturbing them. After a relaxed buffet lunch at a beautiful riverfront lodge, you will head out in an open 4x4 to track Chobe's big cats, massive buffalo herds, and diverse birdlife before we head back across the border in the late afternoon.

Devil's Pool & Livingstone Island

Livingstone Island is the speck of land where David Livingstone first laid eyes on the Falls in 1855, perched right on the edge of the precipice. During the low-water months a natural rock barrier forms a pool — Devil's Pool — where you can swim to the very lip of the Falls and peer over a 100-metre drop, held safely by the rock wall and guides. It is one of the most famous and photographed experiences in Africa. Access is by short boat transfer to the island, followed by a guided wade and swim out to the pool. Swimming is optional — many come simply for the unmatched setting and the food, served picnic-style on the island.

Dusty Road — Township Food Experience

Dusty Road is the most authentic dining experience in Victoria Falls — a township restaurant in Chinotimba serving traditional Zimbabwean food cooked the traditional way, over open fire, using indigenous ingredients. The setting is as much a draw as the food: the whole place is built from up-cycled and recycled materials — old doors, cable reels and pots reimagined into a warm, characterful space, with a curio shop and a women's artisan market on site. It's a chance to step beyond the tourist strip, eat genuinely local food, and support a community enterprise.

Elephant Encounter at the Wild Horizons Sanctuary

A close, walking-alongside encounter with a herd of rescued African elephants at the Wild Horizons sanctuary. Importantly, the sanctuary moved away from elephant-back rides to walking encounters in step with evolving global attitudes to human–animal interaction. Fees fund the lifelong care of elephants that can live 60+ years — a meaningful, conservation-minded experience and an excellent one for families.

Guided Tour of Victoria Falls (Rainforest Walk)

This is the one thing no visitor should miss — the guided walk along the Zimbabwean rim of Victoria Falls. The optional "Chain Walk" descends a set of stairs toward the gorge for a lower vantage. A guide brings the geology, history and ecology to life — how the Falls formed along the basalt fault lines, David Livingstone's 1855 "discovery," and the monkeys, bushbuck and birds that live in the rainforest. Helicopter Flights — "Flight of Angels" over Victoria Falls

The "Flight of Angels" — named after David Livingstone's remark that the Falls were so beautiful they "must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight" — is the single best way to grasp the sheer scale of Victoria Falls. From the air the full mile-wide curtain of water reveals itself, along with the zig-zag of the Batoka Gorges downstream and the wide, island-studded Zambezi above the lip. The shorter flight circles the Falls multiple times in both directions, so passengers on either side of the aircraft get a clear view. The longer flight adds game-viewing upstream along the Zambezi River and over Zambezi National Park, where elephant, hippo and buffalo are often spotted from above.

The gentlest option and a great warm-up. - **Zip Line (Foofie Slide)** — an angled cable twice the length of the Flying Fox, where you accelerate downhill at speeds over 100 km/h. Solo or tandem; genuinely exhilarating. - **Gorge Swing** — the big one: jump from a 120-metre cliff platform, free-fall around 70 metres, then swing out away from the rock in a vast arc. Zambezi Horse Trails has run these rides since 1988 with a stable of well-schooled horses and licensed guides. Lunar Rainbow (Moonbow) Tour

A lunar rainbow — or "moonbow" — is a rainbow created by moonlight refracting through the spray of the Falls instead of sunlight. To the naked eye it appears as a soft, ghostly white arc; through a long-exposure camera it blooms into full colour. The Little Outlook

Curated Selection

The Little Outlook

The Little Outlook is the smaller sister of The Outlook, and it is the one to pick if you want the house to feel more like a home. It is at 546a Reynard Road, next door to the larger lodge at 545. Hamilton and Chenai opened this one in 2023, before they opened The Outlook beside it. Rooms include deluxe twin or double rooms for two guests, and family rooms. It is run as a bed-and-breakfast lodge, with the same reservations desk as The Outlook. Public pages describe it as the smaller, more homely stay rather than a large hotel. The Outlook at 545 Reynard Road is a separate property on this site.

The Shrub Lodge
Lodge
Curated Selection

The Shrub Lodge

The Shrub Lodge is an easy, family-run base if you want to be in Victoria Falls without staying in the middle of the action. It is a 3-star lodge on a quiet suburban street, at 649 Rynard Road, set up for the waterfall and for days out in town rather than as a full-board safari camp. Rooms are en suite: a single, a double and a twin, with air conditioning and a view into the garden. There is a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, satellite television, laundry, room service and a restaurant. The front desk is listed as open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, and check-in is from 2:00 pm. The same reservations desk also looks after Kamtengo Guest House, a separate self-catering house. Kamtengo is not on this property.

Kasambabezi Lodge

Curated Selection

Kasambabezi Lodge

Kasambabezi Lodge is the property people often write down as Kasambezi. It is a larger town lodge at 1609A Reynard Extension, about 2.9 kilometres from the Victoria Falls rainforest and about 1.9 kilometres from the town centre. The airport is roughly a 22 kilometre drive. There are 34 rooms. Thirty-two are deluxe rooms that can be set up as a king or a twin, and some of those can take extra bedding. Two deluxe suites have their own private gardens if you want a bit more space. Rooms are en suite, with air conditioning, a mosquito net, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, a safe, a smart television, a fridge, a desk and a veranda. Room service and an evening turndown are offered. Downstairs you will find a restaurant, a bar, a pool, gardens and a lookout tower. There is also a conference room if you are travelling for work. Wi-Fi and parking are free, and security and the front desk run around the clock. It is a comfortable base in town, not a camp on the river.

Zambezi Guest House
Guesthouse
Curated Selection

Zambezi Guest House

If you would rather have a small house than a big hotel, Zambezi Guest House is a quiet one. It sits among teak trees at 1574B Reynard Extension, in a newer part of Victoria Falls, close enough for the waterfall and a day of activities, and set back from the busier streets. The house is genuinely small: four luxury suites, one deluxe suite and two double-storey superior suites. The rooms page also lists a family suite and a two-bedroom family loft with a mini lounge and a small kitchen, for anyone who wants to self-cater. Every room has a private bathroom, Wi-Fi and cable television. Breakfast is cooked to order and included, served from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The rooftop bar looks out toward the Zambezi and the spray of the Falls, which is the spot for a sundowner. Meals are prepared in front of you in the live kitchen. There is an infinity pool in the garden, laundry, daily turndown and free secure parking. A massage can be arranged. Airport or activity transfers can be booked ahead, and those are charged separately. This is a guest house in town, not a camp inside the national park.

Kulula Lodge
Lodge
Curated Selection

Kulula Lodge

Kulula Lodge is a small guest lodge off Masue Road in Victoria Falls. Public listings, including a SafariNow page titled Kulula Lodge with Bowhunt Safaris, place it at 578 Masue Road. The road is sometimes written Masuie. Each room on that listing is en suite, with parking on site and security on the property, and the lodge is described as close to business centres in town. That is as far as the reliable public detail goes. There is no official website we could confirm, and older directory pages mix this house up with other lodges, including a wrong country and an email that belongs somewhere else. We have not copied those. If you want to stay here, we will confirm the room and what is actually on site before you book. It is a simple town lodge, not a safari camp.

Samanzi
Lodge
Curated Selection

Samanzi

Samanzi is the third lodge in the Shongwe Selection, and it feels like a little water world in the middle of Victoria Falls town. There are fifteen cabana-style rooms, each with a private deck and a door onto the tiered pools. The pools step down over three levels, with a swim-up bar and a jacuzzi beside the bar. You are about one kilometre from town and about two kilometres from the waterfall. Meals are served on site. Chef Jason runs the kitchen, and there is a private wine-cellar dinner if you ask for it. If you are staying with the Shongwe Selection you can also use the lookout tower at Shongwe Lookout, which is nearby and is its own lodge. It is a town lodge with a pool at the centre of the stay, not a private game reserve.

Victoria Falls Oasis
Lodge
Curated Selection

Victoria Falls Oasis

Victoria Falls Oasis is a family-owned 24-room lodge at 311 Fox Road, in central Victoria Falls. It is about 1.5 kilometres from the rainforest entrance, and the owners describe the town centre as a walk rather than a shuttle. On the list this one is sometimes written Vic Falls Oasis. The trading name is Victoria Falls Oasis. It is not Shongwe Oasis, which is a different lodge. There are 16 standard rooms, about 21 square metres, with balconies over the garden, and 8 deluxe rooms of about 46 square metres on the ground floor, with a veranda onto the garden. Deluxe rooms can take a sleeper couch for one child and a cot. Standard rooms do not take an extra bed. The house has a main pool and two splash pools, a restaurant and a pub looking onto the pool, plus gardens, secure parking and 24-hour security. Rooms are en suite, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe, tea and coffee, and mosquito nets.

Savanna68 Hotel

Savanna68 Hotel is the Victoria Falls hotel of Savanna68 Hotels and Apartments, at 68 Courtney Selous Avenue (also written as 68 Courtney Crescent). The hotel site describes 26 suites, including king deluxe rooms, twin or double deluxe rooms and family suites, with breakfast included. What they list for the hotel is a swimming pool, a pergola, a fire pit, free Wi-Fi, DSTV, Netflix, air conditioning, borehole water and solar backup. That last pair is useful to know in Victoria Falls, where power and water can be uneven. The brand also has apartments in Harare and a separate self-catering property, Sea of Dreams, at 1605 BB7 in Victoria Falls. Those are not this hotel. The company office address on the site is in Harare, and that is not the hotel either.

Zimbara

Curated Selection

Zimbara

Zimbara is a self-catering guest house in the Bayete Collection, on Mahogany Road in a quiet suburb of Victoria Falls. It is a short taxi ride, or a walk of under three kilometres, from the waterfall. A small shop is nearby. There are four units. Each has two bedrooms that share one bathroom, plus a kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Rooms have air conditioning, mosquito nets and international plug points. You look onto a pool and garden. Housekeeping is daily. A washing machine is available, and you bring your own soap and toiletries. Someone from the team meets you on arrival and is then on call, rather than on site all day. Mike and Alex Johnson also run Bayete Guest Lodge, which is a different property already on this site. The collection's office address is not this house.

Curated Selection

Miombo Mews

Miombo Mews is a cluster of 26 self-catering holiday villas in Chinotimba, about one kilometre from the Victoria Falls town centre. It is a practical base if you want your own kitchen and a bit of space. Each villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, a dining area and a private patio onto the gardens, plus private parking. Everyone shares a swimming pool and a communal entertainment area. Reception can book activities. Security is on site around the clock, and daily cleaning and laundry are offered. If you book bed and breakfast, breakfast is at Baines Restaurant, The Lookout Café or La Piazza, with a shuttle in the morning. The same team handles The Pods, which is a separate property at 760 Aerodrome and has its own page.

Drift Inn
Guesthouse
Curated Selection

Drift Inn

Drift Inn is a small guest house at 334 Wood Road, about three kilometres from the Falls, on the edge of unfenced bush rather than in the middle of town. It is a quiet place to sleep, with the bush right there. There are 13 rooms. Seven are king or twin, three are queen, and three are family rooms. The site describes them as en suite and non-smoking, with air conditioning, a safe, universal plug points and a tea and coffee station. The stay includes breakfast. You also get a swimming pool, a bar, a lounge, a garden, secure parking, a braai area and Wi-Fi. A spa is listed. The team can help book rainforest walks, river cruises and other activities. Wildlife from the neighbouring bush does pass the garden, which is part of the charm and worth knowing if you are with small children. This is not Old Drift Lodge. That is a separate river camp already on this site.

The Telescope Lodge
Lodge
Curated Selection

The Telescope Lodge

The Telescope Lodge is a small lodge at 1604 BB7, Aerodrome, about two kilometres from the rainforest. It sits just outside the Zambezi National Park boundary, and the lodge notes that wildlife sometimes moves through the area at night, which is a nice reminder that you are on the edge of the bush even though you are still in town. There is a restaurant on the property, and the rooms are en suite. It works as a base for the Falls and for the park. It is not a camp inside the park, and a room count is not on the about page, so we have left that out. The lodge's own site uses a longer trading name. On Verdanti we call it The Telescope Lodge, so the name stays clear.

The Outlook
Lodge
Curated Selection

The Outlook

The Outlook is a lodge at 545 Reynard Road, owned by Hamilton and Chenai, who also run The Little Outlook next door at 546a. This is the larger of the two. The Little Outlook opened in 2023, and The Outlook followed. There is a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, secured parking and a spa. Rooms are en suite, and fine dining is listed among the facilities. Shuttles can be arranged, and those are charged separately. A room count is not stated on the public pages we used, so we have not invented one. The Little Outlook is a separate, smaller lodge and has its own page on this site.

Khayalethu Vic Falls
Guesthouse
Curated Selection

Khayalethu Vic Falls

Khayalethu Vic Falls is a three-bedroom house you take as a whole, in a newer residential part of Victoria Falls. Public listings put it about 5.1 kilometres from the rainforest entrance and about 4.1 kilometres from Zambezi National Park, so plan on a taxi rather than a walk to the Falls. The house has a living room with a flat-screen television, a kitchen with an oven and microwave, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a private entrance, a garden and a braai. The same listings mention air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, free private parking, an outdoor fireplace and full-day security. It suits a family or a small group who want to cook for themselves. There is no official website that we could find. What is written here comes from the VicFalls App listing and similar public pages. A street address was not confirmed, so it is not shown.

Insika Lodge
Lodge
Curated Selection

Insika Lodge

Insika Lodge takes its name from the isiNdebele word insika, a pillar, which is a nod to the column of spray above Victoria Falls. The lodge is at 1740 Parkway Drive, beside woodland and close to Zambezi National Park, so it is quieter than the town centre and still a short shuttle from the Falls and the shops. Rooms are large and en suite, set in small clusters and linked by raised wooden walkways. Guest notes mention double showers, decks and modern fittings. The main lodge has decks, a bar, a fire pit and a dining room, and meals are cooked on site. There is a swimming pool, a spa and sauna, and an art space. The team runs a shuttle into town and to the Falls, and can arrange an airport shuttle. The lodge opened in early 2023. A room count is not on the lodge site. Guest accounts talk about roughly twenty rooms, so we have left the number off until it is confirmed.

The Pods
Lodge
Curated Selection

The Pods

The Pods are private little retreats at 760 Aerodrome, a short hop from the waterfall. The name comes from the seed pods of the Zambezi teak on the property, and each one is its own small house. You get a bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, an open-plan kitchen and lounge, and a private walled courtyard with covered outdoor seating. The swimming pool is shared. Housekeeping, Wi-Fi, parking, security and a concierge are part of the stay. You can self-cater, or take bed and breakfast. When you do take breakfast, it is at The Lookout Café or Baines Restaurant, and the team arranges the transfer. Reservations sit with the same people who look after Miombo Mews. This is not the Cape Town property that uses a similar name.

Bhejane Lodge
Lodge
Curated Selection

Bhejane Lodge

Bhejane Lodge is a newer lodge at Stand 1182 Aerodrome, built around a garden, with a bar and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is included, which makes it a simple place to come back to after a day at the Falls. Rooms have air conditioning or fans, and tea and coffee. Wi-Fi is complimentary. If you need a lift, a shuttle to the airport, the rainforest, town and the craft markets can be arranged, and that shuttle is charged separately. The bar is listed as open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Game drives, sunset cruises and other Falls activities can be pointed out by the team, and those are booked on their own. A room count is not published on the lodge site, so we have not guessed one.

The house has eight en-suite rooms: doubles as a king or twins, a triple, a family room for four and a family suite for five. Rooms are air-conditioned, with tea and coffee, a hair dryer, an in-room safe and a finished bathroom. The Bungalow, a standalone villa on the same property, has two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge with a kitchenette and a private garden, and guests there use the main house as well. Breakfast is included, with a cold spread and dishes cooked to order. The lounge and dining room look over the pool and a tropical garden. Upstairs, the Treetops rooftop bar looks toward the Zambezi and the lights of Livingstone. It runs on an honesty basis and also has tea and coffee. Wall carvings, murals and chandeliers in the house were made by Zimbabwean artisans. Owner-operators Paul and Meredith and a small team help with taxis, tours and the details of a short stay. A taxi into town is about five minutes. The rate is bed and breakfast, per person sharing. This is a comfortable base for the Falls and for a Zambezi sunset cruise, not a full-board safari lodge. Victoria Falls rainforest entrance, activities beyond those on your package, visas, flights and tips are not included. The property is about 20 kilometres from Victoria Falls Airport. Lights and geysers are solar-powered, and grey water is reused on the garden.

The Luxury Triangle: Falls, Hwange & Delta

This twelve day journey is designed for those who want to see Southern Africa's most remarkable landscapes without feeling rushed or uncomfortable. We have combined the sheer scale of Victoria Falls with two of our favorite wildlife regions: Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It is a classic route, but we plan it to keep you away from the crowds. You will start in Victoria Falls, staying at the quiet Victoria Falls Safari Club. It is set back from the main town, overlooking a busy woodland waterhole where elephants often come to drink. While you are here, we will take you to see the falls with a private guide and arrange an evening on the historic steam train that travels through the park. Next, a short light aircraft flight brings you into Hwange National Park to stay at Somalisa Camp. Somalisa is famous for its elephant pool right in front of the main deck, where you can sit with a tea or a gin and tonic and watch breeding herds drink just feet away from you. The final stop is a flight into the Okavango Delta to stay at Atzaró Okavango Camp. This is a spectacular, water-rich concession where you can glide through the quiet channels by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, or head out on classic game drives to find lions and leopards. Because we design and coordinate this trip personally, every flight, transfer, and local guide is managed by us. We are on the ground in the region and reachable throughout your travel, ensuring your journey is entirely comfortable and completely stress free.

This five-day trip brings together two of Southern Africa's most remarkable places, Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park, without the rushed feeling of a typical tour. We give both destinations the time they actually need so you can slow down and take them in. You will stand at the edge of the spray with a private guide, enjoy a dinner of local flavors, and then spend two full days among Chobe's famous elephant herds, exploring both by open safari vehicle and by boat on the river. Because we are based right here in Victoria Falls, we handle every transfer and border crossing personally. Our team is with you at every step to make the transition between Zimbabwe and Botswana completely straightforward, with no logistics or paperwork for you to worry about. It is designed to feel like one continuous, well-planned journey rather than two separate trips.

Zambezi Weekend
3 Days
Victoria Falls, ZimbabweGroup Size: Max 12

Zambezi Weekend

Zambezi Weekend is a short Victoria Falls stay for couples, friends, or anyone adding two easy nights before or after a longer journey. One late afternoon is on the river with Ra-Ikane. The rest of the time is yours for the rainforest, town, or simply watching the light change from a rooftop. You sleep at 528 Victoria Falls, a bed and breakfast in a quiet, leafy suburb about 2.5 kilometres from town and 3 kilometres from the waterfall. The house has a pool, a tropical garden and Treetops, a rooftop honesty bar looking toward the Zambezi. Breakfast is included. Dinner in town is not. Ra-Ikane takes a maximum of 16 guests on a replica of David Livingstone's exploration boat, with drinks, snacks, transfers and the park fees that apply to the cruise. The price shown is the low-season 2027 rate of USD 599 per person sharing, for travel from 16 January to 30 April 2027 and from 1 November to 15 December 2027. High season, from 1 May to 31 October 2027 and from 16 December 2027 to 15 January 2028, is USD 679 per person sharing. The package is sold for a minimum of two guests. Not included: Victoria Falls rainforest entrance, visas, travel insurance, tips, flights, and meals other than breakfast and the snacks served on the cruise. Airport transfers are not included unless they are the transfers that come with the cruise.

Falls and Hwange
6 Days
Victoria Falls & Hwange National Park, ZimbabweGroup Size: Max 12

Falls and Hwange

Falls and Hwange is for travellers who want the waterfall and a sunset on the Zambezi, then real game-drive country without an internal flight. Two nights in Victoria Falls are followed by three nights at Robins Camp, a revitalised historic camp in the wilder, less-visited north-west of Hwange, about two hours by road from the Falls. Robins is the heart of the safari. The country around it is varied and known for predators, including lion and wild dog. You are on full board, with two game drives a day, and park overnight fees are included in the camp rate used here. Drives tend to feel quieter than the busier Main Camp side of the park. The middle of the day is at camp. Victoria Falls is the easy opening. You stay at 528 Victoria Falls, a leafy bed and breakfast about 2.5 kilometres from town, with breakfast included and time for the rainforest if you pay the entrance locally. One late afternoon is the Ra-Ikane sunset cruise, for a maximum of 16 guests, with drinks, snacks, transfers and cruise park fees. The road transfers between town and Robins are included, out and back. The price shown is the green-season 2027 rate of USD 1,990 per person sharing, when Robins is on its green-season rate: 1 January to 31 May 2027 and 1 November to 31 December 2027. Outside those windows the package is USD 2,390 per person sharing. Minimum two guests. Not included: Victoria Falls rainforest entrance, visas, travel insurance, tips, flights, and meals in town other than breakfast and the snacks on the cruise. This uses the full-board Robins rate with game drives, not the shorter-notice special that leaves park fees out.

Falls and Western Chobe
6 Days
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Western Chobe, BotswanaGroup Size: Max 12

Falls and Western Chobe

Falls and Western Chobe opens with the waterfall, then moves to the quieter western side of Chobe. The wildlife nights are at Muchenje Safari Lodge, set on an escarpment above the floodplain about 60 kilometres from Kasane, away from the busier eastern riverfront. Muchenje is fully inclusive: meals, drinks, activities, park fees and laundry. Game viewing follows the lodge programme, and the point of staying here is that the drives feel personal and unhurried. You spend three nights. In the January to March 2027 window this package uses, the lodge's pay-two-stay-three offer is already in the price. Victoria Falls is two nights at 528 Victoria Falls, a leafy bed and breakfast about 2.5 kilometres from town, with breakfast included and one late afternoon on the Ra-Ikane sunset cruise (drinks, snacks, transfers and cruise park fees, maximum 16 guests). A private transfer from Victoria Falls or Livingstone to Muchenje is included. The supplier currently marks that transfer line as provisional. The price on this page, USD 1,990 per person sharing, is for January, February and March 2027 only. December 2027 to March 2028, and the shoulder and high seasons, are quoted on request. Minimum two guests. Not included: Victoria Falls rainforest entrance, visas, travel insurance, tips, flights, and meals in town other than breakfast and the snacks on the cruise. A departure that is not the included transfer to Muchenje, including a return to Victoria Falls Airport, should be confirmed when you book. If you fly into Kasane instead, the airport-to-lodge transfer is complimentary with Muchenje.
